Liz and I knew each other in school, but it wasn't until we were teaching in Butte that we really became friends.

Widowed at a young age she devoted her life to her daughter Lisa. Liz taught third grade at the Kennedy until

she chose to retire and take care of her granddaughters.

For several years we bowled together with other teachers. After I retired, we did water aerobics ,etc.  I miss my friend and think of her often. She had a big heart and took everyone in  with respect and consideration.

Liz was so sweet and always had a big smile.  She spent a great deal of time with Sue Martinsen and Claudia Reindal.  They were inseparable.  She was also an integral part of the group of girls that hung out at "coketail parties" before the Friday night games and Pep rallies.   We also shared a lot of fun at sleepovers and dances.    We shared some classes together as well.  Liz was dedicated to her studies and was an excellent student.  I know she must have been a great teacher and influenced her students to love learning as much as she did.  Wish she could be here to share in our 50th.  Rest in peace, Liz.
